南極の雲は極地に小さな塊となって、並んで見えている。とり
わけ、南極点付近の雲が顕著である。ヘラスは一見黄色っぽく感
じ、しかもあまり明るく見られないがB47のフィルターをかけて
観測すると、白っぽく見え、この付近に雲の有ることがわかる。
また、シルチスの北側には雲があり、かなり広い範囲を覆ってい
た。最初のスケッチではデューカリオンがやたらと広く感じたが、
2枚目の観測では前日とほとんど同じように感じる。時間の経過と
ともに広さが変って見えるようだ。
クリセは非常に明るく、青色のフィルターでも明るくよく見え
る。
SPR is lined with some dense clouds. Especially, SP region
is striking. Hellas was dull yellowish seen. But, it was
bright on the blue light(B47 filter). There is a faint clouds
on the Hellas. The top of the Syrtis Major covered by evening
mist. Deucalion regio appeared wide view. There is a faint
clouds on the Deucalion regio. This region looked poor bright
in blue light.
Cryse region was very bright today, too.

透明度が悪かったのでいつもF50で撮影するところ、
F44 と縮めたところ、青が良く感光し、白雲が良く
目立つ画像が得られた。

Caption:
Seeing was fairly good, however, transparency changed frequently due to haze.
The south polar hood is conspicuous.
Chryse is bright in blue image as before.
2 lines of cirri are extended from Chryse toward Syrtis Major
Tempe small bright spot noted in near IR image.
North polar area is also a little bright in IR image.
説明；
シーイングは比較的良かったが、霞のため透明度が頻繁に変わった。
南極のフードは顕著である。
Chryseは今まで通り青で明るい
２条の筋雲がChryseから延びて、Syrtis Majorに向かっている。
Tempeの小さな明るい点が近赤外画像で記録された。
北極地方もまた、近赤外画像でやや明るくなっている。
