　前日と同じようにキンメリウム（Cimmerium;210°、-20°）の中央付近を横切るかのようなダストの明るい部分が見られる。だいたいの傾向はほとんど同じである。一方、IMWの画像を見てみると、ソリス（Solis Lacus;90°、-25°）付近に明るいダストの塊がある。この部分も恒常的に明るくなっている。また、ソリスの西方の山岳部はダストが淡くなり、暗い模様となって見えていた。

Light dust storm is seen in the same way as the previous day in the center of the Mare Cimmerium. On the other hand, when it tried to see IMW, a light area on the west side of the Solis Lacus is dark, and it is understood about it that dust storm becames thin.

Attached is the mars image from 6th August 2001.
The phase cause mars to look like an egg :)
The skies continues to be cloudy and seeing remains poor.
