Seeing:3/5→2/5、Transp.:4/5

Hi all,
Tonight's imaging session was only possible due to a brief gap in rain
clouds. Only clear filter data was obtained.
BA (apparently continues to show its usual appearance...), the tiny oval
that follows it, and the two pairs of SSTC spots, are also seen.
Three additional sessions (Jan 15, 16 and 17), containing clear, RGB, IR,
UV and methane data are already processed and only need to be labeled.

These were the only possible images on the night of 18-19Jan. Even before
rain returned, the sky was covered by high altitude clouds that made me use
long integrations (only possible due to the AO-2 device). Specifically,
5sec for each clear filter raw, 10secs in the case of R and G filters and
for the B filter 30sec integrations were used.
Besides NEBn white spots and barges...
Distinct NNTB red oval, and what may be a pair of very poorly defined STB
oval features (all in p hemisphere, the latter previously mentioned near
methane dark regions on jan14 images). Nothing was methane bright at this
location on Jan17 (dark features remain; images will be send this week-end).
The bright NEBs bright cloud keeps evolving (these longitudes were also
imaged on Jan17 and will be sent asap).
SEBn exhibits a bluish segment, and SEBs shows extensive spot activiry.

Good observations
Antonio

Hi all,
Here are some more Jupiter images from early this morning.
I caught the almost identical CM2 longitude as on the 15th, again showing the array of SSTB ovals, BA and its following STB oval, and B-4 on the NEBn.
Best Wishes

Damian
