Finally a small break in the heavy clouds we have had for over a month;
although seeing conditions are very unsteady, I was able to eek out a couple
of images with some detail of note.

jup02_1031a
Jupiter imaged under poor seeing conditions; nonetheless, there is a
considerable amount of detail visible within the NEZ and the NEB, south
edge. Also note the diagonal uplifting of the STZ into a marked
brightening. Note also some dark barges that appear in the North Temperate
latitudes as well, particularly one high north near the CM in this image.

jup02_1031b
Jupiter imaged under poor seeing conditions; continuation of morning
imaging. Note activity within NEZ and NEBsouth, large festoon approaching
CM in NEZ. The persisting oval at the north edge of the NEB (approaching CM
as well)appears to have a very thin, but distinct border within the NTrZ.

Hi all,
Here are some images from the 31st. Note the bright
clouds erupting f. the GRS in I band. Also, quite
distinct in visual. These were also easily seen
visually at 350x.
