Hello Friends,
Withall the attention that Jupiter's been getting, I decided to have a quick look at Saturn the other night.
What I saw surprised me a bit.
There seems to be a definite dark patch on Saturn's south pole, with a lighter area around it.
What has me puzzled is that the lighter area did not seem to be perfectly circular, but my averaging of many frames across 10 minutes has blurred it into appearing circular.
Any thoughts, gentlemen?
Best,
Maurizio
