Dear all Venus observers
I thought you may want to see this.
On June 3rd, Venus is showing a strange appearance in UV light.
I am trying to figure it out what kind of pattern it might be.
The dusky band is showing a half circle with a bright spot in
the middle near the terminator.
At the same time, I found an image of Venus that was taken by
the Paris-Meudon Observatory on July 23, 1962. Surprisingly,
it is similar to my image of June 3rd! I guess Venus might show
this kind of appearance occasionally.
