Dear all Venus observers-
Venus was imaged successfully in UV light on July 5th 23:30 UT.
Wow, I can't believe this!! Venus is showing spectacular details under the perfect seeing condition.
There are TWO veil-like bands stretching nicely from the terminator to the limb.
The band in the southern hemisphere is still visible while the northern band may be developing.
I imaged something like this with a shorter northern
band awhile ago. I will compare it later.
Meanwhile, Tim Wilson observed Venus also about two hrs. later after my images.
