These few days, Hong Kong experienced a very hazy sky
due to air pollution.
The seeing was a bit improved to 4/10.
On my photo, pls notice the dark streak above the GRS
Clear skies.

Hi Friends,
The sky was extremely foggy last night, cloud and haze leading to only two stars barely
visible on the sky : Jupiter and Sirius. My usual focal ratio (F34.5) could only captured
extremely faint Jupiter with low SN even I gain to mazimum level, so I switched to use F15
with 2.5X barlow. Although the sampling is under but still better than insufficient signal
to noise ration at higher focal ratio.

Surprisingly that this 150% resized do show some details and as the sky was extremely hazy
so the bluish festoons are much less obvious.

Kind Regards,
[Eric Ng, Tai Po site Hong Kong, China]
