それぞれ、画像処理の方法が少し違
います。解像度の低い方は、裸眼で
見た感じに近いです。

Two pictures of same time are sent.
Respectively, the method of image
processing is different for a
while. The one that resolution is
lower is close to the touch seen
by the naked eye.

Jupiter in fair to poor seeing; nonetheless, some nice detail within the GRS
is visible, particularly withing its southern regions; note the tiny white
spot within the GRS, south of its major axis, on the fol. end; nice spot
activity in S. Temperate Current and development of STB south of and fol.
the GRS. Note the many very small ovals and spots in high southern
latitudes, constituting a very wide-scale outbreak in recent weeks.

The very conspicuous fading of the NTB is particularly noted in this view.
This fading was suggested/predicted about 30 days ago as segmented portions
began to develop; note also the dark nodules developing and continuing along
the span of the NNTB in these longitudes.

Dear friends,
Attached were a pair of Jupiters taken on 20030208 16:14UT and 17:47UT. The sky in Hong Kong was very foggy recently because of marine monsoon wind blew from south china sea. On the other hand, relatively steady sky. :-Luckily the sky transparency improved around mid night so could captured the "c leaner" Jupiter shots.

The one taken at 16:14 UT shows very active festoons and blue features on EZ and the there is another spot at the preceding side of GRS and seems moving inside the GRS hallow, also shown on Weileong image which will be posted shortly. Hopefully I the sky will be clear tonight and I shall keep monit or its trend.
Also I am attaching the lunar shot taken under very foggy sky at earlier time last night for your interest.
although I rarely shoot Moon, but it is a great object for warm up!!!

Kind Regards,
[Eric Ng, Tai Po site Hong Kong, China]

Dear all,
Attached is the jupiter image from 8th Feb 2003, the seeing is variable on
that night, the images was taken thru clouds which were very troublesome.
More images will follow as I get to process them.
Please note the change in email address (webmaster@tasos.og.sg), this is
due to my weileong@singnet.com.sg address which gets rejected by some of
your ISP. My old email address weileong@singnet.com.sg will still remain
active and accepts all emails as usual so no change is needed on your side.
Best Regards.
