Hi all,
Here are some Saturn images from Jan 29th, obtained
with the ST-5c. Of immediate note is the small
elongated bright spot in the South Tropical Zone. The
spot is located at L3=242.2 degs, and -41.8 degs. I
think its pretty likely this is the same spot first
imaged by HST/myself back in mid December, and further
imaged earlier this month. If so, it is to date the
longest lived of the small white spots we have seen
this apparition.
Best Wishes
Damian
