Hi Saturn Observers
Here is an observation from October 19th 2003. The spot at -29 degrees lat.
can be seen on the S. edge of the SEB preceeding the CM. This spot was
imaged by the HST on Aug. 25th and has been shown to have a drift of -7.3
degrees/day. The globe of Saturn shows quite a bit of detail in this image.
Several dark condensations( spots) can be seen at various locations on the
globe. The sky was clear, the transparency was excellent 9/10, and seeing
was good, 7/10 with a few moments when it approached 9/10. No wind and light
dew. The weather was cool with the temperatures in upper 50s F.
