Seeing has been good during one hour only and then seriously degraded.

Hi all, on my IR images of december 31th 2003, I had suspected a dark spot
close to the meridian, but with no certitude. I have however recently
received a red image taken by Bruno Daversin at Ludiver (France) with a 24"
(600mm) cassegrain just a few minutes before my first IR image, that seems
to confirm its existence.
Here are the images ; it can be seen to rotate in the third one ; all show
it at 243ー (sys. III) and latitude -45ー more or less. A similar spot is
maybe revealed in Damian's red image of January 2nd (although at a different
longitude).
One reason why this possible spot is much less contrasted in my images,
apart of some technical reasons, is that those spots are maybe best visible
in red than in near-infrared ; this seems to be the case for the HST images
taken on march 7th 2003.
Looking forward to more evidences...
Best wishes,
Christophe
