I want to try an ultraviolet ray penetration filter.

Christophe's and Frank's recent successes inspired me to try to capture
venus last evening just after sunset. The sky was reasonably steady for that
time (3-4/10) and much steadier than when I've recently tried to image Venus
in the early afternoon. I used my Philips ToUcam. I don't have a UV filter
but tried a W47 filter with an IR blocker. I also captured a color image
with an IR blocker. Both images show an arc near the sunlit terminator that
is reminiscent of one of Christophe's earlier images. However, I believe
that this is probably an artifact. I'll keep trying.
