Stable air this morning provided me to capture Venus at high resolution. This image is in real color white
light, and taken at a resolution of 0,11´´/pixel.Color shift is corrected by hand.
I used the ToUcam because the 5,6micron pixels of its chip provides maximal image covering.

visuall observations
Thanks the good seeing,Venus was beautiful crisp in the eyepiece.I observed its white atmosphere
at 800x magnification.I had the impression of seeing some dark albedo features visually, but the image
don't show them,as usually in white light Venus observation. The atmosphere looks very homogenuous
white.Note that the eye's sensitivity is different to that of the CCD chip.

Here is more data from this morning. Scarce details may appear again in the IR780 image. At least, there is a kind of dark collar at the bottom pole on the image that is certainly real, and the 1 micron image does show it also (unfortunately it's not good enough to confirm the other details). The IR images are heavily processed, quite more than usual for me (this explains the overexposed limb). Nonetheless, the dark patches seen in infrared do appear with the "normal" processing, but due to their very low contrast I feel the need to wavelet them more strongly. Best wishes Christophe [Christophe Pellier Bruz City , France]
