A couple of images from March 29, the earlier one showing the GRS exiting the pr. limb
but lots of interesting activity; I am noting an increased separation of the two major
delineations of the SEB at this time, particularly noted beginning about 20 degrees behind
the activity of the GRS; the most turbulent area by far seen in these two images is that
associated with the current of the NEBsouth, the EZnorth and perhaps within the North
Equatorial Belt ZONE itself.

Note the great predominance of reddish features: the n. component of the SEB is strongly
defined in red for many degrees fol. the GRS, as is the curving s. component of this belt;
both subside some distance from the GRS active area. In addition, note the very strong
segemented portion of the NEBs, the segmentation appearing to be the result of perhaps
higher or more dominant brighter features than the belt itself. The reddish features are
best defined in the blue image of each of these two images, showing about 20 degrees of
rotation....

Here's my latest image of Jupiter with the GRS transiting. Seeing was around 7/10 with transparency at around 3/5. I had to image through mist. I just have one request, can someone send me the System II Longitude of the GRS? The time I am using is mid time of my exposure. If you want more accurate timing please let me know so I can send this to you. These are 130sec exposures so if you want shorter exposure, I can process these for you.

Some images from last night. Reasonable seeing but horrid transparency - only Jupiter, the Moon and Arcturus could be seen!.
Oval BA is nicely seen, looking quite prominent with a darkened rim. It was easily seen visually.
9.25" (23.5 cm) Celestron SCT @ f/31
ATK-1HS CCD camera.

Seeing fair-good (Pickering 4-7.)

Transparency terrible (0 mag) thick haze/high clouds.

Wind SW (0-3mph.) Heavy dew.

Eq Diam=44.1"
Alt: 34-33 degs.

Here 2 shots from last night when sky did reveal to me after 10 cloudy days!!
Of course, I was ready with my weapons to make Jupiter captive and although he was bucking (low transparency caused by strong moisture and high tiny cirrus) he was defeated in a few minutes.

Here a jupiter image very strange, infact Paolo and me unawarely we have simultaneously taken again Jupiter !!!
So I have compose this L-RGB image ..... Luminance is with Paolo's Planewton DL252, despite RGB taken with my C9,25".
