The transparency was bad because there was the cloud (altostratus)
in the sky this night.

I was really disappointed on the 17th,I was ready for a good long night
and wanted to
Capture Jupiters rotation towards the GRS at hourly stages. It started
out well with pretty good seeing conditions at midnight and at 01:00UT.
Then it all went wrong,it was
Like someone had switch on all the heating around Ruislip,I have never
experience
Such a change in seeing, how registax coped I do not know. As you can
see by the
Images the last 2 of Jupiter are very blurry and the image of Jupiter at
03:17UT was
So bad I had to change the colour to get any kind of detail.

It could have been such a great night, hopefully I'll get anychance soon
if the weather
Holds. I have however attached another image of Jupiter which turned
out ok at 00:11UT
With the 3XBarlow.

Seeing average for altitude. As well as the RGB images at 10 minute intervals,I have decided to start including a mono IR/R image as well, for more accurate measurement,as this is taken in 100s exposure, while the RGB composites take a total of 5 minutes. The timing given for those is the middle of the red exposure, which is the first exposure.
The usual little animation provided.
I think the purple spots to to f. on the 01:40 image are dirt on the chip.
The IR image shows the GRS just coming round.

Yet another evening of poor transparency this spring with Jupiter. Yellow
sand/dust blown from the continent reduced transparency to such only Jupiter
and the moon were visible so gain setting of 95% was used.
Some detail can be seen inside the red Oval BA in the image.

Here are my first Jupiter images of the season, unfortunately the planet is
very low this year and this is almost the highest it goes around here.
