James Jefferson (Meed ETX 125AT:ToUcam Pro2)
Please find image of Jupiter & Io on the 2nd May,seeing was very good for a very short
Period,ie : about the length of the AVI !!! Clouds rolled in shortly afterwards
(as is usual these days)

Still nice details and my best image so far this year. Taken with a 2XBarlow at F30
Which definitely bought out a cleaner image than at F45.
My only issue is that the white bands are saturated abit which was weird because the
Gamma and gain were well low.

Randy Tatum(250mm f/10 refl:ToUcam Pro)
Seeing was 5/5 and trans. 4/5. I used the 25.4 cm f/12 refl.,2X barlow,Toucam Pro,Registax 3 and Photoshop Elements.

Some one-shot images with a colour Toucam Pro this time.
Also an experiment with different frame rates, going from 10 fps to 15 and 20. 10 fps produces the most natural-looking result with the colour Toucam, whereas with the mono version (essentially the same as the ATK 1HS) I have often used 20 fps to good effect. Presumably this is due to the mono chip's greater sensitivity. The decreased s/n ratio going to the higher frame rates, coupled with the Toucam software's auto colour balance, produces an effect of the surrounding sky going blue.
White spots are visible on the NEB N edge, and one in NN temperate latitudes. A spot is also visible in the SSTB preceding GRS.
