Here my last Jupiter image under fair seeing conditions....
I hope the weather will be so good for other days...
The GRS was surronded by several little details, also inside the GRS ...!

Here in Italy the seeing is always very poor despite the steady high pressure,an unexplicable mistery.
I'm now experimenting a new tecnique to fight against the costant turbulence,so on yesterday eve I was able to capture a decent Jupiter image.
A dark bridge is seen between the GRS and the BA oval,a darkening is also seen in the facing side of the 2 subjects.
I think there must be some effective link due to the interaction.
It was too bad I couldn't capture either a RGB color image and a new image with the same quality when the GRS-BA system was to the CM!
It was a miracle to have had such a decent window in my 2,5 hours long session...

David Arditti (250mm Dall-Kirkham Cassegrain:ATK camera)
These are the "first light" images from my new C11. I did not
collimate it - these were taken with the collimation it came from the
States in (I have done so since).
