This is an observation of Jupiter with the encountering NEBn white spot and white oval taken last night June 17
Obtained in a moment of unusual steady air at 23 degr altitude. It's also my best low-altitude image I could take so far.
Monochrome images will I send out later...
10 inch Newtonian & ATK-1HS with color filters)

Here is the set of filtered images from my June 17 session.
I saw the 2 white ovals also visually on the same night,at 300x with the same scope.
10 inch Newtonian & ATK-1HS camera)

This is a HC-monochrome version of the 21:06 UTC image.

This is a comparison of IR and blue light shots on the NEB white ovals. This might be an interesting effect
of different layers,as there seems to be a clearer seperation between the 2 encountering ovals in the
blue light. The differences is remarkable, even more if is considered that the resolution is generally poorer
in the blue light at these altitudes.

Here is the best color result from my June 17 session.
(21:07 UTC) seeing: 7/transp: 7/wind: N-E (0-1) /altitude: 23 degrees.
-note the thin belt north of the NEBn

Last saturday was a petty good evening for Jupiter, this is probably the best I produced so far in this Jupiter season,it wasn't ideal because the second one partially obscured by trees and the window for imaging is shrinking by the day. Seeing was fair although large wave distortions spoiled somewhat still the great white spots in the NEB are seen, the smaller ones direct south of it are difficult but are there

Only a tiny image with fair seeing but showing the two ovals very close.

Seeing not as good on this date as on the 16th,nevertheless,herewith another large image set, arranged in colour columns.
One of the thing this shows is the truth of Ralph Vanderbergh's observation, that the two white ovals in the NEBn are more distinctly separated at longer wavelengths, despite the decreasing resolution.
The smaller image set I have included is intended to show this particularly.
Also of interest is the white spot in the very far S,and the group of 3 small dark spots in the NNTB,in the later images.
