激しい雷雨のあとのわずかな雲間からの観測で、条件は良くありません。
BAはGRSの真南を通過し終えたところでしょうか?。

I managed to take the pictures of the Jupiter in the fine interval of "Bai-u"(the rainy season in JAPAN).

梅雨の晴れ間に、何とか、木星を撮影した。

Teruaki Kumamori (200mm Dall-kirkham )
BAとGRSを待っていたのですが、夕方から雨、後、
少しの晴れ間に撮影を試みましたが、エアコンの室外
機の温風も混ざって、最悪に近い状態でした。

I have attached some Jupiter images from 15 July.

I took so many images on the 15th, an evening of good seeing, that I am sending them in two batches. Here are the IR shots, showing GRS/BA coming into view. RGB to come.
The second installment of images from an evening of particularly good seeing. A
pity the GRS is only just coming on at the end, but we see a pronounced dark
border or plume between the GRS and BA, which did not exist on the 13th, as well
as the dark material ahead of BA, which we have observed for some time, and a
reddish area between those two dark areas, BA having now overtaken GRS.

I have several more evenings of images taken since then, but will not be able to
process them for a while as I am going to France for a week. I did buy a C8
telescope specifically to take to France with the idea of getting Jupiter at a
slightly higher altitude, but when I put it together with the mount I realised
it was far to heavy to take. I told that to the man I bought it off, and his
response was, "Yes, I bought it to take it to France, then I realised it was too
heavy and didn't take it - a pity because we had really clear skies."
