Venus images: 2006 compared with 2004 by Richard McKim

My thanks for these results. The IR images of the dayside do not show the
surface because the surface thermal emission is too small compared with that
from the sunlit cloudtops. (Only at night can we, as the late David Allen
actually wrote, become voyeurs looking through the net curtains.....)
The UV images show typical markings and I am fairly sure the longitude will
turn out to be the same as these images from 2004 September (attached). The
comparison is very suggestive.
I would welcome more UV images from any recipient!
