As I stated earlier about Venus' two dark bands,here are the images at below. Hopefully,some of you imaged Venus today too. This is perhaps the darkest features I have seen this apparition. The bright southern cusp of Venus reminds me of Mars' SPC when it is futher away from opposition. I wonder if the Venus Express mission have any data on this.[Frank J Melillo Holtsville NY U.S.A]
