John Kazanas (317mm Newton)
Very good seeing conditions this morning resulting in my best image so far this season.

Christopher Go (Celestron C11)
Weather has been terrible for the past week. But this morning, conditions were perfect! I'm back to my Edmund filters which seem to be better for planetary imaging than the Astronomik filters.
Here's nice image of the GRS rising. The EB/SEB is still very violent! Note the small dark red spot on the SEBn. This spot should move towards the GRS in the next few days.
The two spots on the NEBn is also getting closer to each other! Will we see another merger like last year? Note the rift on the NEB. The NEB is beginning to get busy!
The line feature in the NTrZ is getting darker and darker from it's light blue color during the past few years.
Jupiter's global upheaval is now in full swing!
