Hellas (290W,-50) is observed brightly today also. By the image of Ikemura,
limb is reflected quite yellow. The feature at the time of dust storm is
shown well. The image of D.Parker is important. Signs which were
visible on July 28 that it was light dust stom have been checked. It
turns out that Pandorae Fretum (350W,-22) and Serpentis (327W,-25) look
light and dust band is in this portion. Moreover, it was vividly
recorded on the south and north terminater occasion that white clouds
have come out.

The seeing was very poor, but as others have observed the contrastin Cimmerium is very low.

Bruce Kingsley(280mm SCT)
Seeing was very poor, but much notably - the
weather on Mars itself.Dust seems to be obscuring everything at the
moment.Hesperia region can be seen, and Sinus Gomer is just discernable.
Using Damien's Mars image maps in Jupos really help to enrich
observations. They have become an invaluable tool. Thanks Damien.
Our thoughts go out to two little rovers on a barren, and hostile Planet.

The atmosphere remains dusty, with Meridiani Sinus and M. Serpentis obscured.

under extremely poor seeing.....

David Arditti (250mm Dall-Kirkham Cassegrain)
In these images, Mare Cimmerium is quite clear, plus Cerberus to the N, plus the SPC.
I am surprised that they are shown with much more contrast than in the images
from my "neighbours" Damian Peach and Bruce Kingsley from the same night. Could
be just "lucky seeing". In any case, there is a lot of dust obscuration acting
here as well.
