(Sinus
(reported by 4 observers)

White clouds are visible to the Antarctic region. Seemingly this will
be light and is darkly reflected by IR. Contrast of dark pattern is low
as usual. By the picture of Yunoki, Sinus Sabaeus(340W,-7) grows dim
vacantly and it can be seen. Although Hellas (290W,-50) looks bright,
it is not white. (reported by 4 observers)

I was able to get out and image this morning. It was still hot at 4 AM,90 degrees and humid. Despite heavy breezes the seeing was pretty good for Phoenix. I would like to have been able to see what the seeing would have been like without the wind. Of course it quit blowing as dawn approached. I was greeted by a few Perseids as well.
This side of Mars looks a bit more normal, but still obscured some by dust.
