 ソリス(Solis lacus;90W,-25)は暗くよく目立っている。ダエダリア(Daedaria;
120W,-30)の暗部もかなり濃くなっているように見える。ヘラス(Hellas;
(Nix
(reported by 6 observers)

Solis lacus (90W,-25) is very conspicuous darkly. The dark part of Daedaria
(120W,-30) also seems to be quite deep. Hellas (295W,-50) is observed
very brightly during the morning. By the blue image, it turns out that
clouds are generated near Isidis (268W,+23). Nix Olympicab(135W,+25) was
observed as a dark spot. Still more, it turns out that duststorm has
spread. (reported by 6 observers)

Firstly,apologies that the CM longitudes on my set of images from Sept 02 were
wrong. This is because I had August rather than September set in WinJUPOS.

On the 4th seeing was improved but still not very good. Richard McKim has
pointed out that the bright "dish" of Hellas represents one of the last parts of
the dying storm isolated in that basin. Nevertheless,there still seems to be a
general haze reducing contrast from what one would expect. Here,a bit more
detail than before is visible,including Syrtis Minor,Nubis Lacus,the dark
patch p. the tip of Syrtis M,and Nodus Laocoontis,the streak near the terminator.

Poor seeing unfortunately but at least it was actually clear!
Where has Nodus Alcyonius gone!?

Two images showing Olympus Mons and the Tharsis area from the 4th UT.The shape of Solis Lacus looks very irregular, likely due to effects from the dust storm.NPH is prominent.
