北極フードの活動は、全周にわたって非常に活発な様子を示している。今日の報告
は、全体を見渡すことができる。Tiziano Olivettiの画像にはヘラス（Hellas；
295W,-50)の中のゼアラクス（Zea Lacus；300W,-50)がリング状に記録されてい
た。ヘラス（Hellas；295W,-50)は、青画像でやや明るく記録された。クサンテ
（Xanthe；52W,+13）からクリセ（Chryse；33W,+10)付近は明るく記録されてい
るが、これはダストストームだと考えられる。

Activity of the North Polar Hood shows the very active situation over all the
circumferences. Today's report can overlook the whole. Zea Lacus
(300W,-50) in Hellas (295W,-50) was recorded on the image of Tiziano
Olivetti in the shape of a ring. Hellas was recorded a little brightly
by the blue image. Although near Chryse (33W,+10) is brightly recorded
from Xanthe (52W,+13), it is thought that this is local dust storm.

快晴になりましたが、火星は小刻みに震えてピントが合わせづらいです。
架台のフォークを短くして、赤緯の上がった火星を追い続けます。

The seeing was very good,and the planet very high in the morning sky.
In spite of good conditions,the limb artifact is still present.

ホームズ彗星を撮像をしたが大きくなっていた。その後火星を撮像する。当初比較的シーイングが良いので期待したが、高度が上がるにつれてシーイングが悪化していった。南極冠をとらえるべく１０月３１日に続いてIR系で撮像する。三品氏がメーリングで指摘されていたようにR,IR系で南極付近に明るい部分がある。南極冠が形成されはじめたのだろうか。

Mars under bad seeing,in IR
The only interest here is that despite the very poor resolution,we can see
Chryse very bright,and the rising Nilokeras and Tempe also ? sign of the
current dust event?

a picture featuring a yellowish Chryse region. Is it dust activity?
A slightly more contrasted processing with less enhanced yellow colour.
Nevertheless Chryse looks very bright and an opaque yellow/green cloud
seems to cover parts of Niliacus lacus, Chryse and expands over Mare
Erythraeum (Margaritifer Sinus) and also Pandorae Fretum. Picture is
1,4x original size.

Sirenum Extension very dark and Valhalla just north of Sirenum is not visible after the dust storms.
Valhalla still visible north of Cimmerium.
