解説(安達)
 Sean Walkerの青画像では、夕霧が三角形に見えている。夜の方から吹いてくる
風を表しているかもしれない。熊森氏の画像には、クロニウム(Chronium;
200W,-56)が、はっきりと写っている。また、南極の白雲も見えている。これら
の様子は、肉眼でも観測できる。(reported by 10 observers)

By the blue image of Sean Walker,evening mist is visible to the triangle.
The wind blown from the night side may be expressed. Chronium (200W,-56)
is clearly reflected to the image of Kumamori. Moreover,antarctic white
clouds are also visible. Also with the naked eye,these situations can
be observed. (reported by 10 observers)

Carlos E. Hernandez (Drawing:9-inch (23-cm) F/13.5 Maksutov- Cassegrain)
I was finally able to make an observation of Mars on December 9,2007 (06:25 and 06:50 U.T.).
The hard side of Mars was visible and I was able to detect several albedo features as noted.
I welcome any comments on my observation.

Good seeing,but low transparency. Interesting cloud movements over the course of 10 minutes.

After shooting this morning,I shot this wide-field image to capture the scene similar to my naked-eye view. I'm lucky to have relatively dark skies.
30 second exposure,Canon 10D,18mm lens at f/3.5.

Here are some images from Dec 9th in very good seeing. A nice view of Chryse/Aurorae Sinus/Solis Lacus. The distinct albedo difference between Aurorae Sinus/Protei Regio and Pyrrhae Regio/Margaritifer Sinus is quite prominent.
