久しぶりの金星撮像をした。この時刻はもう高度も低く26pを設置しているスライディングルーフからは電線や前の屋根が障害となる。シーイングが悪く、おまけにフィルターにもゴーストが出てしまった。

Comments (English):
Although it had been cloudy all day,the evening of wednesday the 21th suddenly cleared, showing a very transparant sky. Seeing was reasonable at that moment. Unfortunately the sky near Venus was still scattered with soms clouds,so I couldn't get a good sampling set of all channels. I started out with recordings with the 390 nm bandpass filter. Because of the great transparecy I was able to get a clear view, which is a prerequisite for this small bandpass. The filter worked very good, yielding a sharp image. Three sets of 5000 frames were taken and combined to the UV-image.
After that, clouds obscured the planet. I was able to scarcely sample enough frames in the red channel to attempt at a colour composite,so it's quality leaves something to be desired.
The images already show good promise of what is to come, certainly considering the disc is only 11" big.

Feb. 21, which show features in IR-R
distinct from the UV features. I have turned this data into an enlarged false
colour image, in a separate file, for what it is worth.
