Some enjoyable planetary imaging for the first time in quite a
while,though seeing still needs to improve here. I have switched
from the Baader filter to the Schuler 365nm UV filter,and the
brighter image @ higher fps + lower gain setting helps. I used a
diagonal for extra image scale,if the markings are reversed (I
don't think they are though) that's why.
Here is an enhanced image of the UV capture.

天気予報からは今日は無理と考えていたが、薄い雲を透してながらも何とか撮像出来た。雲の通過が有るためゲインが絶えず変わり、困難な撮像であった。Ｕ画像は昨日のものとは異なっていて、大気のスーパーローテーションがわかる。
導入用にカサイのCH-SWA20mm十字線アイピースを購入したが、見掛視界が70°と広いため夕方の視野導入が楽になった。視野レンズも大きく造りもしっかりしていてなかなか良い買い物だった。

Venus was imaged while the Sun was still up. Each image is the result of stacking 4500 frames.
Here I send you enhanced pictures of Venus on 15 April 2007. By combining images of 17.22 and 1730 an improved image was obtained.

20年ほど前に買ったジャンク品の3倍バーローレンズ2枚重ねで、撮影しました。
コーティングもほとんどはげ、傷だらけ、泡入り、バルサムがはがれかかっている。
かなり気持ちの悪い状態のレンズですが、これで、恒星を眼視してみて、
テレビュー3倍と比較してもほとんど差を感じませんでした。
これでやっと金星の紫外線撮影での希望の拡大率を得ることができました。

The poor transparency last sunday prevented me from using the UV filter - the sky background was almost as bright as the planet ! So I used the W47 instead. The filter does a good job.

I've taken an image through an IR-cut filter (L) matching the human vision. The image shows details, in coherence with RGB also. This is another element for the visual observations topic.
That evening, a french visual observer, Frederic Burgeot, has made a drawing through the W47 and with a 16"
