Seeing was excellent this evening. Again,I had to deal with clouds that seem to enjoy teasing me by covering Jupiter every now and then.
Note the bluish feature on the STB setting on the left. This region seems to be dark in Methane band. The SEB outbreak looks interesting especially with the very dark red spot close to it.
The EZ is quiet except for the festoon that seems to be interacting with the NEB outbreak. The NEB outbreak has turned the quiet NEB to a complex rift system. This region is prominent in the Methane band image. Note the large white ovals on the NEBn.
The NNTZ seems to be breaking apart. Note the ovals on the area close to the NPR!!

Last night was clear, and although the seeing didn't start off very good it improved quite a lot later in the night. Here's an image from the start of the session, just catching the GRS past transit.

seeing had improved by this time. One more image to come...

there were moments of excellent seeing, not enough to really make a significant difference to the result but it was a nice reminder of what good seeing looks like after a month or so of soup

When I finish with image processing I see this phenomenon the black drop like the Venus transit at the Sun,but here I have the satellite Ganymede and the giant Planet Jupiter.
I do not know if this phenomenon is possible in the Jupiter!
One other point at this image is the very small red spot at NEB zone and near the other satellite Io (I put black arrows at the image down and left).
Technical details on the image.

Two images with barrel shadows of Ganymede.
