Donald C

It became a position near Sinus Sabaeus (340W,-8) can be seen from Japan.
From this position, NPC can be clearly seen. It seems that a remarkable
change is not seen. Nix Olympica (135W,+25) is reflected to the image of
Richard Bosman white. Signs that the Thyle 1 (160W,-65) neighborhood has
cleared up understand interesting one well. Signs that there is a band
of clouds so that the South Pole may be surrounded are known. dark
pattern vacantly carried out especially near Memnonia (145W,-20) is
conspicuous. By the image of Donald C Parker, the dark band which
surround NPC is conspicuous. Moreover, by a blue image, distribution of
clouds is known very well.

But the first for me in 08,in UT at least.
Poor to fair seeing.
Happy New Year.

Revisited my data and was able to come up with a better result, one worthy of showing the individual channels.
Seeing was poor to fair. The red channel is a long pass red filter,610 - 1000 nm.
Note the cloud around Nix Olympia at the sunset edge.

Hi Guys, this is my first Mars in 2008.
Oro-clouds good to see on the volcanoes.
Some morning clouds on the limb.

instead observing Mars because clouds are coming and going, i take some time to process al avies from
2008/1/1 , six avies totaly (6 x RGB). Observe time 20h33-22h57 UT.
One problem with a long session is the seeing and the same processing from each avie.
So the color is not 100% identical also the resolution .

Olympus and Arsia orographic clouds were very bright on the evening limb. Numerous cloud streaks were seen over Ausonia, Eridania, and Electris.
