It seems that white clouds spread in Elysium (215W,+23) in the evening. The
position of the afternoon near south latitude 70 degrees near the Argyre
(35W,-50) is always accompanied by white clouds. By the picture of
Donald C Parker, this situation is known very well.

Conditions not too good,it got worse as the night went
on,so this one from 2001ut turned out to be the best.

A very bright patch seems to have come into view on the sun facing limb.

Marc Delcroix (254mm SC)
Despite the usual artefact,i caught a good view of north polar cap,the autumnal south polar hood (which was very bright in the eyepiece) and the hazes on the limb, especially north of Tharsis - all of this is clearly seen on the blue layer.
The 3 volcanos of this high plateau are also easily seen.

[Marc Delcroix Tournefeuille,France]
Donald C Parker(16-in (41cm) Newtonian)
Weak Tharsis orographics with Ascraeus Mons being the most prominent.
Bright terminator cloud near Propontis I. Sirenum Extension dark.

David Arditti (355mm SC)
Here is the Erythraeum side of Mars. Blue cloud over Mare Australe (top of disk) and Argyre (near terminator). Dia. 10.4".

Damian Peach (350mm Celestron SCT)
