Another fine view after a week of poor weather.
At start of session (06:10 UT) Enceladus & shadow would have been in transit, but saw neither in variable seeing (5/10 - 7/10). But caught glimpses of Dione's shadow with Dione itself approaching the limb. I failed to detect ingress; but by 07h. the seeing became better and more settled; the Dione shadow was then very well seen. Enceladus too was then readily seen off the globe close north of the rings. After checking WinJupos for an accurate fix Dione was still not detected, even in the best moments.
Activity apparent in several belts. The pseudo-NEB being quite structured but a lot of it of borderline visibility; the shadow of Dione looked within the southern edge to me.
