Fair seeing, and grabbed this set just before a low cloud sheet rapidly formed from nowhere...
Oval BA is seen and Europa's shadow is cast onto the disk.

I woke up around 1:45am local time to catch the GRS. Jupiter was just over 50 deg above the horizon. The sky was mostly cloudy with a lot of thin clouds. I had to image Jupiter through thin clouds so transparency was low. Seeing was only 7/10. Monsoon season is finally here.
The SEB has shut down. There are no more outbreak spots going on. The "wake" of the GRS is gone! Will this herald the fading of the SEB? The GRS is very pale.
As the SEB shuts down, the action is in the NEB. There is a lot of outbreaks on the NEB and the southern edge of the NEB has a lot of interaction with the EZ. At the northern edge of the NEB to the NTrZ is a huge red spot! This spot is an existing anticyclonic spot that can be seen on my April 15 image. This spot interacted with the NEB outbreaks (May 28 image) and it has turned into a HUGE red feature. Interestingly, methane band images of this object show that this is dark in methane band. There is also a white outbreak on the southern edge of this feature. Note the long dark red bar on the NEB.
The northern edge of the NTB is also very busy. Note the reddish features at this area.

Some of Pauls good seeing has come across this way... I found some good seeing for a short while this morning at around 2.30am,long enough to capture the attached image showing the GRS and interesting new developments in the NTZ. The circulation in and around the GRS is visible in this image.
