Dr. P. Clay Sherrod (500mm Dall Kirkham)
Our typical poor seeing conditions low in the south,
Jupiter with the GRS and what appears to be an emergence of the STB fol. the GRS.
The Bird Strike can be seen at the upper limb (south up).
Very interesting bluish barges within the NEZ and
continued turbulence within the n. edge of the NEB.
For those with no image attached,it is found at the ALPO Image Archives:

Seeing terrible this evening. Transparency was also low.
The GRS is clearly separate from the SEB. The SEBn is fading a lot with the EZ pushing into SEBn!
Io and her shadow are at the EZ.
The NEB is very busy with lost of red ovals in the north and rift activity.

Here are some images from Aug 31st. Near perfect seeing this night for a while. After processing this set on my main PC/screen ive actually deleted the first set i posted (which i processed on my laptop) as it really wasnt right. I will re-do that one again properly at a later date!
For the time being, here is a view showing the disturbed NEB and the GRS just coming into view.
