Some additional photos to come along my last session of the year 2009;

(file ISS_KiboCol_091215t):This close-up of the stations 'heart' shows of course the JEM 
(Japanese Kibo Lab) with Columbus (European Lab), but a favourable view on Destiny with a 
sign of the Special Purpose Dexterous Manipulator(SPDM),shortly Dextre, in fact a Canadian 
built Robot. This detail is not easy to capture due to its location (here port side Destiny) 
it is only visible with a certain favourable observing angle. This image finally shows it. 
Recently, however, its location was chanced for upcomming work when the Shuttle arrives. 
This image shows still its previous location. 

(file ISS_Kibocl_091215t):Other close-up showing the area around the Kibo laboratory,
taken 30 seconds earlier then the other file. The structure of the Japanese Exposed Facility
(JEF)the terrace,at the port cone of the Pressurized Module is recongnisable. The Experiment
Logistics Module, pressurized Section (ELM-PS) is partially visible mounted on the Zenit side
of the PM, (we just see a part of its cylindrical shape lighted by sun, as with the Pressurized
Mating adapter 3 (PMA-3).

2009/12/15_ISS observations_last of series
The Experiment Logistics Module Pressurized Section (ELM-PS) is a 
cyllindrical shaped short module on top of the Japanese Exeriment 
Module or Kibo. It is mainly used as a storage facility. Due to its 
location on the Zenit side of the ISS, it is difficultly visible 
from Earth. Only under a low observing angle a glimpse of it can 
sometimes be seen. In this image it succeeded well.

here is a reprocessing of the image I took mid Dec 09 of the center part
with Canadian Robot Dextre on its old location. You also can see the tanks 
around the Equipment-lock of the Airlock. I was able to indentify the 
location of Dextre thanks to comparing images of an approaching Soyuz 
some days later. Note also the KU-band antenna


subject: 09/12/15 ISS-window in Destiny module_observation

This is my first clear observation showing a single window in the ISS. The
nadir (Earth-faced)window is 20inch (50cm) wide and I compare it in this
view with an image from the approaching Soyuz a week later. This promises
for observation of the newly attached Cupola of the Tranquility-node,
installed during the last weeks....
