Please find attached an image of Saturn from Saturday morning. Titan can be seen just below the rings on the left of the image. The rings are still not quite edge on.

Poorish seeing, possible faint spot in SEBZ (arrowed),longitude estimated at III=215 fro G image. The colours of the belts are interesting. Are the two hemispheres becoming more equal in their colouration as the planet approaches equinox?

The rings are noticeably more open than they were in December, with the Cassini div. more resolvable now than it was then. Titan appears to proceeding. An interesting quetion: Enceladus should be in transit very close to the CM,
according to TheSky,but I have to say I can't see it. Is it in the ring shadow,
which TheSky doesn't predict?

David Gray (415mm Dall-Kirkham)
Managed this view prior to my departure for work - 12:50 a.m.on Saturdays.
This has been delayed due to scanner problems (partially resolved now); a back-log of Venus obs. to follow as soon as possible!
Still a golden hue to the rings but it can readily be seen that Titan is a fair bit more ruddy. Also the brighter portions of the rings still rather outshine the satellite. The p. ansa slightly the brighter.
