David Gray (415mm Dall-Kirkham)
At last a very clear sky and decent seeing!
Rings look quite bright and more yellow than amber now; f ansa slightly the brighter with perhaps a touch more amber. Rather think that the southern globe is becoming more dusky; and the EZ(S) appears to have a slight orange cast - similar tho' lighter than has been noted in the EZ(N).
The shadow of Dione was well seen but could not see that of Enceladus which would have been sf.
Prior to looking at Saturn I managed a look at Ceres in very good seeing (8/10 - 9/10) and was able to see it as a disk - no details!!! Will send my impressions this p.m. - cycling off to work shortly: 5 miles - I'm a baker.
