We had really rather good seeing, owing to the stable high-pressure area over
the UK,possibly the best this apparition. On the other hand, transparency was
very low, necessitating capture at 8.5 rather than my usual 17 frames per second
for red and green (blue is always the lower rate).

On 19 March Titan was close to Saturn and I made this image. At that time I was not aware yet of the problems to face. Returning in the house I checked my central heating system that had given me already lots of problems in daytime. But now,in the middle of the night I discovered a tiny jet of water spouting out of the central heating pipe causing a small lake of rosty water. When I removed the isolation material the pipeline was rotten over a length of almost 8 meters. You can imagine that I will never forget the horror story that goes with this picture. On the other hand it also illustrates that every dark cloud has a silver lining!
