Yes, something is going in the atmosphere.?The ground-based observatories and the Venus Express Mission scientists?are now investigating this spot. As I was told, they did not know anything about?it until they saw my alert message on July 19th. As the matter of fact, I spotted this new feature and alert other observers within one hour of the first sighting of?Jupiter's impact by Anthony Wesley! The images from the Venus Express weren't?even process yet even though one image may show the spot development at 4 days earlier.?It turned into core spot one rotation later on my July 19th images.
??? Probably, they may call it?the 'Great White Spot' if this continues.?
? This is a slow process but more information will follow?in other publications as time progresses.?
