Jim Phillips(TMB 8" F/9 apochromat)
At 9:00 PM last night the temperature was 84 degrees F but with the heat index it felt like 95 degrees (and it did too!). I got everything set up to go by 5:00 AM. It was 82 degrees and the humidity was thick enough to be cut with a knife. But,see ing was pretty good. here is an image of Jupiter with my TEC 200 F/8 Fluorite.
Note the Spermatozoa Rift in the NEB.

Tomio Akutsu (355mmSC C14)
NEBには新しいrift(II=20°付近)があり、大きくなり後方に伸びている。

Paul G. Abel(203mm reflector)
Observation made with a 15" Newtonian Reflector. Alas, the planet was both low down and observed in a light sky. Seeing was average at best.
