Hi All,here is an image of Jupiter from last night - the seeing was reasonable for much of the session but I had to dodge persistent clouds so a lot of time was lost. There's a striking difference between the north and south hemispheres in appearance.

風がなく、気流の良い条件での木星画像です。大きな変化は無いようです。UV,メタン、赤外の組み画像から木星のベルトの位置の違いが判別できます。

I have been photographing the planets for many years but never submitted any
picture or report to you.
Last night the turbulence was very strong but I tried all the same to image
Jupiter. The images were very bad in quality but I noticed that there was a
darkening on SEB that I had not noticed a week before.
This might be the first signs of the reappearance of SEB on Jupiter so I thought
they might be of interest to you.
Telescope: Newton 10" f/4,8

Very bad seeing and transperancy

Christopher Go (Celestron C11)
Finally some decent conditions have come my way. I imaged early today with Jupiter only about 50+deg above the horizon.
The SEBn looks a little reddish in these images. But overall the SEB is still quiet.
The NEB is very busy. Note the huge dark red spot on the NEB. The NTB seems to be fading but there very dark bands on the NTBn is very prominent.
Of the 3 colored images on the right one was made in 16bit mode. Can you tell which one?

Under little fair seeing conditions... I
have several films of these last days but my job and moreover my
personal schedules (I get married in three weeks) leave me very little
time to spend to process my captured films.

I wish to all ALPO JP friends best seeing for this great Jupiter opposition!
