I had excellent seeing yesterday night (for my observing location that is),the best for this apparition (this is my 11th Jupiter session) and maybe the best i got for Jupiter since 2006. As usual with good seeing images, processing was really easy and not time consuming.
Please find below and attached a rather huge montage with 13 different images, please check it in full size. I think i just missed a bit the focusing on the 1st blue image...
A lot of details are visible in all wavelengths (but especially on the IR images and the second RGB) - i just want to point out this new anticyclon in the STZ,which seems clearly red for me now on the second RGB image (@22:36.7UT),maybe it's time to nickname him "Baby Red Spot" for example,as it's smaller than "Red Spot Junior"?
It's still bright in methane even if it is not as bright (yet?) as GRS,BA or spot Z.

Seeing 8/10 Trans 6/10
Comments: Very bad seeing during all observation, but high stability during 5 minutes.
Visible activity in NEB. Also is visible the activity all around Oval BA.
Visible tears in southern SEB and all around GRS. SEB remains invisible but it's there...

Paul G. Abel(203mm reflector)
Here's a recent observation I made of Jupiter on the 29-30 September. The
seeing was variable, and varied from AII-AIV, although it was AII for most of
the time. The main points of interest was a large white rift in the NEB which
on closer inspection (312-400x) appeared to be two rifts (perhaps merging?)
There were also a number of prominent bluish grey festoons present in the EZ. I
was also able to pick out a number of darker sections in both the NTB and NNTB.

The STB was distinctly fragmented and incomplete- a noticeable dark section was
present on the fol. side of the GRS and appeared to be connected with the SSTB.
Three white ovals also present in the SSTZ.

The strip drawing shows the white rift in the NEB.
