A most interesting evening- seeing was only around AIV,but there were a number of good steady moments when both image definition and colour was very good. During this time,I noticed that there was a small black dot present in the STropZ/STB- it's only when I came in and checked with WINJUPOS that I realised it was the shadow of Rhea. The seeing would probably not have supported observation of transit of the satellite, but it was nice to see the shadow, albeit inadvertedly!
NEB definitely present and a light bluish-grey colour. NTB suspected but only on the fol. side of the disk. HArdly any details seen on the narrow rings now.
