Venus Image 2010/05/23(UT)

I have started imaging this evening apparition of Venus, and I have acquired an Astrodon-Schuler UVenus filter, which I am using in place of the Baader UV filter (old type), which I used previously, which suffered from a bad IR leak. Seeing was very poor and capture was at 8 fps. I used probably too large an image scale for the seeing, with a 3x Barlow, so I have reduced the images by 66%. Cloud structure is shown, with bright southern latitudes and the Y-shaped cloud visible.[David Arditti: Edgware Middlesex HA8 5LW: United Kingdom]
