This morning I finally managed to get the first image of this opposition of
Jupiter.
It 'a great feeling to revise the giant so tall on the horizon, after years
of crawling along the horizon!
The weather conditions were just average, but the height has helped and the
result already shows interesting details.

We hope to do even better in the future!

It's been over 2 weeks since my last image. My notebook died two weeks ago. Fortunately,I was able to have it fixed. Last week,I was in Chiang Mai,Thailand to attend the 11th Asia Pacific International Astronomical Union Meeting!
Seeing this morning wasn't great but I was able to get a decent red and green channels. Blue is still terrible.
The GRS is prominent in these images. The area around the GRS is very busy. The GRS is very bright in CH4.
Note the huge dark oval on the NEB. The EZ looks very busy. Note the bright ovals on the NNTZ in CH4. The brightest spot is the NNTZ LRS.

久々の木星です。GRS前方のSEBs−StrZベルト幅が広いのが今年の特徴ですが、UVではくらく、メタンでは明るい。大気の高い所の雲がレイヤーにあり、幅が広く見えているのでしょうか?
