Much improved seeing this morning,at about 22 degrees altitude this is likely the best I can get barring miracles :-)
I grabbed my first colour image of the season,Jupiter sure looks different this year -
I had some doubts about the colours but then I saw a similar image from BrianC which showed the same side of Jupiter with very similar colours,
so I'm a bit happier now that the colours are close. The GRS is very pale.

Also attached are images taken in IR (>= 742nm) and methane absorption(CH4) 889 +/- 9.

Imaged Jupiter this morning, mostly in poor seeing but did get some fairly hi res data,
for only 24 degrees alt, just before Sunrise.
Have attached 2 RGB & 807nm IR data sets, the first RGB & 807nm IR data is relatively hi res and from them
I note a very bright spot in the SEB that appears to be in contact with the preceding edge of the GRS.
The GRS itself is very pale.
There are three very dark, almost black features spaced along the Southern edge of the NEB
and there appears to be a line of small dark spots along the Northern edge of the NTB from the CM back toward the following limb.
The SEB remains clearly darker than the NEB.
