Martin Mobberley (300mm Newton)
No sign of any impact!

[Martin Mobberley: United Kingdom]

Simon Kidd (355mm Celestron SCT)
I was out again this morning hoping to capture impact scars.....nothing much
seen though.
Conditions: very average.
Incidentally the dark spot next to Oval BA seems to have darkened significantly [Simon Kidd: Welwyn Herts,United Kingdom]

Stephen Gale (256mm Newton)

Clif Ashcraft(184mm Schupmann)
Seeing was definitely above average this morning,at least 7/10 and the transparency was very good.
Calm air,strong dewing.

I obtained 13 usable videos of 60 seconds duration between five oclock and five thirty am using my Flea3 firewire color camera coupled to the 7.25" Schupmann with a 3x Barlow lens.
The combination gives an effective focal ratio of f/45.6.

The videos were pre-processed using PIPP which centered, cropped, quality sorted and saved out the best 1200 frames as a new .avi file.
The new files were then processed with Registax6.
These images were de-rotated and stacked using WinJupos and the stack further sharpened in Registax6 to give a single image of higher quality.

Attached is a composition with all 13 images and the single image which is a de-rotated stack of all 13.

Wayne Jaeschke(356mm SCT)
he seeing and transparency were good this morning, although we still can’t shake the moderate jet stream.
Here is Jupiter from this morning.
Note that the area that might have been affected by the recent fireball/impactor is not on this hemisphere.
Also,now that we’re approaching quadrature,
I’ve increased the image scale slightly to 133% of the original capture size
(so you may need to click on the image to enlarge it to full size.)

Masahiro Koishikawa(310mm Newtonian)

David Arditti (356mm SC)
Here are my first Jupiter images of this apparition.
They were taken 3 hours before culmination in poorish seeing, but I couldn't stay up any longer. They are also the first planetary images I have processed using my new iMac at the final Photoshop stage
(earlier stages done on a MacBook running Windows Vista). You might also like to look at my re-vamped astronomy website, now entirely separated from my music website,staglaneobservatory.co.uk.
I don't have most of my image archive on there yet,but it is gradually going up,starting with Jupiter and Saturn. [David Arditti: Edgware Middlesex HA8 5LW: United Kingdom]

Dzmitry G.Kananovich(250mm Klevtzov-Cassegrain)
Here is a Jupiter image taken on 12 sept. 2012.
Seeing conditions were moderate, but rapidly changed to poor.
In addition, blue channel was taken under variable transparency.
Nothing unusual at the fireball impact site. [Dzmitry G.Kananovich,Minsk,Belarus]

Attached is a Jupiter drawing made yesterday.
I'm afraid it shows little in the way of fine detail, seeing was appalling for most of the time.
There were occasional steady views when one could glimpse all sorts of turbulence in the NEB and some interesting structures in the SEB.
The EB seemed rather prominent, although I found it harder to trace near the centre of the disk.
NTropZ dark, NTB broad and dark along both its northern and southern boundaries.

Battled on until 0208UT but by then frequent passing cloud seemed to push the seeing bellow the Ant. scale and I retired indoors.
