Marc Delcroix (254mm SC)
Very nice detailed image of Jupiter in methane absorption band on Sep.
17th 2012 from Pic du Midi (acquisition by Francois Colas, processed by
myself from home).
Nice view of oval BA rising and passing south of GRS,with brighter
zones inside both - no traces of impact visible here (approximately at CM).

[Marc Delcroix Tournefeuille,France]

Clif Ashcraft(184mm Schupmann)
Attached are eight images obtained with my Flea3 color video camera (5.6 micron pixels,Firewire)
coupled to the 184 mm f/14 Schupmann medial with a 3x Barlow lens giving an effective focal ratio of f/46.2.
The programs Firecapture,PIPP and Registax6 were used to process the 60 videos and produce the images.
Further processing in WinJUPOS was used to derotate the eight images to a common CM and stack them.
At the bottom of the composition is shown the results from the derotation. The smallest features
on the sharpened derotated stack are comparable in size to the Airy Disk for a 184 mm aperture.
The Airy Disk is 5.5 microns in diameter at the scale of the images.

Wayne Jaeschke(356mm SCT)
Seeing was poor/fair for this session thanks to moderate jet stream and changing weather.
The EZ appears to have an orange hue across its width on this hemisphere.
Here is a full-rotation animation I made from data taken between Sept. 11 and Sept. 17, 2012. There are some gaps in the data (darker areas) and the seeing ranged from poor to very good, so there is a bit of variation in the views. Overall, however, I think it's a fair representation of Jupiter for mid-Sept. http://exosky.net/data/derot.gif (29MB) [ Wayne Jaeschke ; West Chester,Pennsylvania U.S.A]

Damian Peach (356mm Celestron SCT)

Some images from the 17th. Fairly good seeing.
